My first piece of erotica and it wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. Like others have mentioned it's tastefully done so it doesn't read like a porn script. The plot is pretty interesting and fun. As hot as all the sex scenes were, my favorite had to be the library attack in the beginning. I know, it wasn't consensual, and I feel guilty for liking it but even Will found it hot after mulling it over so... Anyway, the idea of a huge gay prostituon ring operated inside/and outside of a fraternity house made for an entertaining read. I know nothing of the inner workings of a fraternity house but I guess this is one option. Haha. I may not read too much erotica in the future. It's fun but it gets me too "excited" and I don't always do my daily reading at home in privacy.Product details

I actually liked this story. I'm surprised. Will is just ridiculous! I read this and it made me wonder if people actually think and behave the way Will does. I love the plot though, hilarious.
John Shepherd took my breath away with this debut novel. The fact that he is able to strike gold with his initial foray into the world of publishing is a testament to his impressive writing skills.
“The Gamma Boy” is one of those rare books in the male/male genre that enthralls readers with its well-developed characters, a riveting storyline, and sizzling chemistry that arouses all senses.
I especially liked the passionate attraction between Will and David, one of the sexiest couples ever created by any author.
Also, I would be lying if I didn’t admit that the very steamy and graphic scenes depicted by Shepherd didn’t tantalize, titillate, and thrill me.

A book about a gay fraternity house that trains boys in proper sexual techniques? Sign me up! But be warned this book is as much a romance and a thriller as it is erotica. You won’t be able to put it down. Very well-written, very romantic, very passionate.
This is a story not to everyones taste but reading the reviews I started off not so sure about the story that was being told. It was fast, no chance to be swept away into a slow unfolding romance. Guess its up to personal taste in the end. I give it a four because it was as I said fast paced and filled with all sorts of fun.
This is a fun bit of erotica, but a little rushed. Some good ideas that needed to be expanded. I realize in depth character development was not the principal focus of the novela, but a little more time on the main relationship may have made the ending a bit less hurried, but overall a fun read.
